delete printer from operating system

I have a printer that is no longer usable. Don't know how to delete it. Operating system is Catalina 10.15.7.

Hi there,

See this instructions on how to remove the printer from the listOn your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners.
Select the printer in the list, then click the Remove button .
