Can you charge an iPhone 15 (pro or standard) with a USB A charger connected to an A to C cable? (I realize this is slower than using a C charger.) Or do you need to use a USB C charger connected to a C to C cable? Thank you

Everyone is saying you can go Type A too a Type C for 15 Pro Max but I just tried it and it won’t charge. First day with my 15 Pro Max. Luckily I found a Type C plug in my house too use the charging cable it came with from Apple.

Same issue. None of my USB-C cables work. Only the one that came with my iPhone 15. I’ve tried 4 different cables.
Yes you will be able to charge an iPhone using a USB A to USB C cable. If you do want fast charging, I'd encourage you to spend $14 and buy yourself something like an Anker Nano 20w USB C Charging plug,. They are available at pretty much any Apple Store or you can order one from Amazon.

Same here. Just got my 15 Promaxx today and tried to plug it into a A-C charger and it would not work. Thankfully I have USB -C ports in the house
