My computer is a MacBook Air with OS Monterey 12.6.9. I bought a Epson Es -580W scanner that was suppose to be compatible with my Mac. When I went to download the scanner soft wear to my computer I got a message that said, there is no file for the OS detected. Choose another OS. There was a list to choose from. Do I choose one of the listed OS options or is this scanner not going to work with my computer?

You may be able to use the image capture utility built into macOS instead of the proprietary software from the manufacturer.
