MacBook Pro 14" M2 2023 creaking

Hello everyone!

My brand new MacBook Pro 14" M2 2023 creaks upon the smallest pressure put on it. Like, if I lay in bed, and use the palmrest on an uneven surface, it creaks. It's not a big problem, it's just very annoying. I feel like the underside is loose but im not sure.

Help would be appreciated! :)

Brand New MacBook Creaking So about a week ago I purchased a brand new MacBook Pro M1 and recently I have noticed when I move it while its open in makes creaking noises within the keyboard area or hinge or trackpad. It's not like it keeps doing it over and over in the same spot but instead across the whole device making it random and un coordinated like throwing a dart blind folded. It isn't affecting the performance of the computer though the noises that it makes are pretty annoying for someone like me whose ears are always on and alert all the time. I would think that maybe this is either a manufacturing defect or something is loose across the whole build but I came here to here others perspectives and if anyone else shares my problem.

M2 MacBook Air chassis popping/crackling I've had my M2 MacBook Air since June 27th of this year, and I've noticed that the body of my MacBook Air crackles and pops quite noticeably when picked up with one hand from either of the corners while open, rest my palms on the palm rest, or push down firmly (not hard) on either side of the trackpad. I realize that this might be normal when purposely flexing the chassis, but it's a bit disconcerting when using it normally and there's a noticeable 'pop'. For example, I notice it the most when I use it on soft surfaces like a bed, pillow, or blanket, and when I rest my palms on the palm rests, there's crackling coming from the chassis. I did see another post related to the hinge making a clicking sound and I want to make it clear that the sound is not coming from the hinge but the body of the device itself. Is there anyone else experiencing this?

The lid of the macbook air m1 creaks when opening/closing I have a macbook air m1, which is already a year old, and the last few days its lid, when opened at maximum, began to creak disgustingly I'm sure nothing got there including water I attach a link to the video proof https://youtu.be/24LzTnH6yb8 I am very concerned about this sound

You can talk to Apple for sure, but until something actually fails there is nothing to do.

Apple may or may not consider this a warranty issue ... you'll have to ask them and physical "problems" require a hands-on examination..
