Unlocking " Privacy & Security " when password is forgotten

I have Forgotten password for opening

" Privacy & Security ". Can somebody help please.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.4

Hi Wizdoms,


If you originally set up your Mac with the first user account, your account should have admin permissions. Your regular login password should be able to unlock the Privacy and Security section in Settings.


If you know your login password but it can't unlock System Settings or System Preferences, please let us know.


If you forgot your login password, you can reset it via these steps: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT212190
