If you have an Apple Account balance that you can’t use

You can't redeem or return Apple Gift Cards, App Store & iTunes Gift Cards or unused Apple ID balance for cash, except as required by law. If your jurisdiction allows the refund of redeemed gift balances, you can contact Apple Support to request a refund. 

When you contact Apple, include the following information:

•               Your Apple ID.

•               The refund amount.

•               Your current delivery address.

Apple ID Account is for the purchase of Apple products and services from Apple.com/store, iTunes and Apple App Store etc. Gift cards may be redeemed into Apple ID Account as a way of funding Apple purchases mentioned above. Terms and Conditions of Apple Gift Cards prohibit refunds and transfers. This is not unique to Apple. I don’t know of a single gift card that allows you to receive a refund or transfer it to another account. Most countries prohibit these activities because it’s a form of money laundering.

Apple account doesn’t allow you to redeem monies or even purchase so I too want a refund and remove this non working app. Very disappointing.
