I have tried to remove apps placed on my phone 8 plus by grand kids.
When I opened the App Store, there was no update at the bottom of the page. It said to tap update. I was done before I even began.

There's a discussion thread online ... says you can not delete from purchase history ... but you can hide purchases from the list.
