AirPods Pro firmware updates won’t upgrade
My AirPods Pro’s will not upgrade they are on 5A377 and have never changed I have tried everything but they will not update

Seems you need a Mac or Apple device with up-to-date software installed, in order for the AirPods to update automatically : eg: For iPhone: About iOS 16 Updates - Apple Support says iOS 16.6.1
AirPods firmware updates take place quicker using a Mac (Eg: MacOS Ventura 13.5.2).

For iPhone : Tip if needed: Leave AirPods connected to power overnight with the iPhone connected to wi-fi close by, so they can update automatically
