How to confirm external drive is being included in Time Machine backup

Hi - I feel dumb - I'm sure I'm missing something but don't see where.

I'm trying to confirm that my Seagate external hard drive is being backed up within my Time Machine backup on my NAS drive. The articles I've seen indicates it should be included, but it doesn't seem to be clear to me if it is. See the screenshots below of my Time Machine settings. Within the NAS backup area, it just shows the sparse bundle stuff without really telling me the files within.

Can anyone confirm I'm safe? Thanks!

By default Time Machine backs up all mounted volumes when it runs, other than the TM backup disk. Your screenshot shows TM excluded it automatically, as it should. In other words everything looks correct.

TM is not intended to be used with third party file management or backup tools, so don't use them. The only way to confirm your external hard disk drive's contents are being backed up is to restore an item according to Restore items backed up with Time Machine on Mac - Apple Support. You should be able to scroll "back in time" to view older versions of files whose contents have changed. If you can do that, then it's working.

Browsing TM backups using anything other than the Time Machine interface is not supported. Altering them can corrupt the backup, making it useless.
