Random lines of my emails appear HUGE to recipients

Sometimes my email recipients complain that a random line in my email appears in a HUGE font size. This happens when I send from Apple Mail (ver 16.0) as well as from Outlook (ver 16.76.2, with 365 subscription). Apparently this is a known issue in which the decimal in the font size coding is removed (making font size 12.0 become font size 120). Is there any update on this being fixed? It seems to be a long standing issue. Usually the proposed solution is to disable email scanning on your anti-virus. I'm not running an anti-virus, so I don't understand what would be causing this.

Your first link says it is a Microsoft problem. Your second link directly contradicts your claim that the Mac is involved in any way.

Since that is happening with different clients, it seems more likely that the fault lies with the recipients' e-mail readers, rather than the actual encoding.

You could try sending one such message with cc or bcc to yourself, and seeing if it shows the same error on your mac; you can also view the Raw Source to see if it is in error there.

And... you can use Plain Text e-mail.
