My Apple Pencil 2 won’t connect. I’ve tried to restart the ipad, but it won’t work.
The “Apple Pencil” notification will show up, but device will never connect, and no further notice about connection success or failure.

Hi Kerr48,
It appears you created your post from the support article Pair Apple Pencil with your iPad which includes these suggestions for problems pairing your Apple Pencil:
"If your Apple Pencil won't pair with your iPad
2. Restart your iPad, then try to pair again.
3. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and make sure that Bluetooth is turned on.
4. On the same screen, find your Apple Pencil under My Devices. If you find it, tap "i". Then tap Forget this Device.
5. Connect your Apple Pencil into your iPad and tap the Pair button when it appears after a few seconds.
6. If the Pair button doesn't appear, wait for one minute while your Apple Pencil charges. Then try connecting your Apple Pencil again and wait until the Pair button appears.
7. If the Pair button still doesn't appear, contact Apple Support."
If possible, you may test pairing this Apple Pencil against another iPad or try pairing another Apple Pencil to your iPad to further isolate the problem to the particular device before consulting Apple Support per step 7 of that page.
Regards.
