Can't send email to myself [MBP, Ventura 13.5]

Recently I noticed I can no longer send email to myself on my MBP. I have tried sending to/from a different alias. I have tried sending to/from totally different accounts hosted by different companies.

The messages appear to send normally, but then they never appear in my Sent Mail on my MBP and they never appear at their destination mailbox.

I need to send email to myself pretty often, and this is turning out to be a big problem at work and otherwise. Any ideas?

13.5.2 does not appear to be available to me yet, it says my software is up to date. Maybe that will do it.

I don't use iCloud. I have an ISP but don't use that very often. Primarily a work email server, and personal email from an independent email service company. But the problem spans all of these accounts, so it appears the problem is in Mac Mail, not anywhere else.

Otherwise email seems to be working fine in all accounts.

I'm on 13.5.2 and can send email to myself! By the way are using iCloud or work email sever or an ISP email server?

Then in Mail go to menu item 'Window' and select 'Connection Doctor' and inn that app click to show Detail button to see print out of Mail is speaking with you email sever!
