Softward for ther ipad "iPad" was corrupted during dowload when restoring
I forgot the passcode and it won't do the restore
You can plug it into a PC with iTunes or a Mac with iTunes or Finder depending on the version of MacOS that is installed on your Mac. There are directions on how to do this If you can’t update or restore your iPad - Apple Support. Here you should be able to get it connected by following these instructions and get your iPad going normally again.
