I just updated to 16.6.1 today and almost all of my notes have disappeared. I have checked my deleted folder, turned my phone off and on again, closed and reopened the app, but they are still gone. Is there a way to get them back? I had so much important information in them.
Is it possible that those notes were associated to an email address other than your iCloud email address? Did you delete an email account by any chance?
If you have deleted an email account then add it back to see whether that restores the notes. If you did not delete an email account, then double check the existing email accounts to ensure that those accounts are still active and working.
