why is my touch bar flashing when I open my mac

exch time i open my Mac and wake it up, which I do every morning, the touch bar flashes bright white, for a split second. It acts normal afterward and is not acting up otherwise, but this is new behavior.

Flickering/Flashing Touch Bar on MackBook Pro. Recently (possibly since Ventura update) the touch bar on my 13 inch 2020 MacBook Pro (Intel) is intermittently flashing/flickering. Upon waking the laptop from sleep there is a bright white bar flash. When the touch bar is going to sleep (after about 1:15min) there is about 13-15 seconds of flickering IF the cursor is resting on desktop. If the cursor is not on desktop (on a browser or app etc) the flickering will not stop. The issue is both intermittent and getting worse. It seems to have to do with the touch bar and its "sleep mode" I have tried all the fixes I have seen online - in terminal, in activity monitor, I have reset PRAM, NVRAM, SMC, entered a script that promised a fix, nothing is working, I have turned off control strip in keyboard preferences. Should I be concerned that this is indicating a bigger issue (motherboard etc?)? Is there a known fix? Has apple acknowledged this as a known issue yet? Since none of the fixes I've seen suggested here or anywhere else have made a permanent fix, what do I do next/now? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Touch Bar keeps going black My 13" 2017 MacBook Pro's Touch Bar keeps randomly going black after periods of sleep. Restarting the computer fixes the problem, but it seems to be occurring with increasing frequency. I can't tell if this is the result of a Software Update or not. I am currently running Ventura 13.5. A potentially related problem, although I'm not sure if it's connected: my regular keyboard has also been quite laggy lately. I went into Accessibility Options and turned on Slow Keys. Not really sure what this is supposed to do, but seems to help a bit. But it feels like a workaround for a symptom of a bigger problem.

Hello baileyrgb,

It doesn't sound like that is an issue, but just in case, you are welcome to run the Mac diagnostics tests (Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support) on your computer just to make sure everything is working as it should.
