"No Service" on iPhone 13 after iOS 16.6.1 update

Today I got new iOS update 16.6.1 notification and I updated iOS accordingly but since then my cellular network is showing "No Service". I don't understand why Apple gives updates when the updates affect cellular connectivity. Now it's Saturday evening and I have this problem with my iPhone 13 after updating to iOS 16.6.1, I can't connect Apple support or network provider until Monday morning. I was wrong to trust Apple. This is not the first time, I have faced the same problem with my iPhone 7 in the past.

Please follow the instructions in this guide published by Apple 👉 If you see No Service, Searching, or SOS on your iPhone or iPad

As noted in the guide above, if the steps included do not help then contact your carrier and then finally contact 👉 Official Apple Support

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
