Can I change iPhone mail auto fill?

I have two email addresses. Both gmail. I’d prefer my iPhone mail app to auto fill with one, but it’s using the other. Can I change that?

iPhone 6s, iOS 15

Hi 2Petunia,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! To change which account to send email from, please follow the steps below that can help:

Send email in Mail on iPhone

1. In your email draft, tap the Cc/Bcc, From field.

Hey 2Petunia,

Thanks for clarifying. If you mean you want to change the email account being used as a default to compose mail messages, we have steps for that.

You can change the account, but it will need to be an account you have configured for use with Mail on your iPhone.

Go to Settings > Mail. Scroll to the section for Composing, then tap on Default Account. Tap the account you wish to have autofilled for the From address to compose email messages from.

If you are not referring to autofilling when you compose a message, reply back with where you want the account address to autofill.

Take care.
