where do downloads from onedrive

While I haven’t been able to figure out where the files go when downloaded from the OneDrive app, I use a work around.

From the files app, browse your OneDrive folder and then download the files from Files app using the “Share” icon and then save to files or photos. I frequently use it for photos and they start appearing in the Photos app.

I haven't used OneDrive in a while. Google Drive, however, will download files to wherever I've specified my browser put downloads. For me, that's the Downloads folder. If you're using Safari, go to Settings>General>File Download Location to see what you've selected.

What types of files are stored in the Files app ?

• In the On My [Device] folder, you can find files stored locally on the device that you're using.
• In the iCloud Drive folder, you can find files and folders that sync to iCloud Drive, including Pages, Numbers, Keynote documents, and more. 
• You can also find files in other cloud services and apps that you connect, like Box, Dropbox, OneDrive, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Drive, and more. 

The Files app doesn't contain your photo library. But you can save photos to the Files app.
