I tried to create a shortcut YouTube video link at my Ipad homescreen, but whenever I added the video URL into Homescreen it only add YouTube Homepage and not directing to the video I want.
It works on my iphone but not Ipad. Why video link not add into homescreen? Thanks

Same issue. Go to video in safari. Exports, Save to Homescreen. The YouTube video appears but simply opens YouTube, not the video.

As a test, are you able to set up the link as a Shortcut on the Home Screen? Here's how to do that: Add a shortcut to the Home Screen on iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Let us know what happens and we'll go from there!
Youtube video link saved at homescreen is not the actual URL/Video , it only add Youtube home page.
