Battery Widget not showing hearing aid level correctly

The battery widget on my Iphone 12 pro shows one of my hearing aids at 10% and 0% for the other. I have my Accessibility Shortcut (triple-click on side button) set to MFI Hearing Devices and that shows the battery levels correctly at 60% and 70%, any ideas why the widget doesn't work.

Try

restarting the Apple phone and the hearing aids
if you have had the hearing aids for awhile and there battery might be bad then get new ones ( this can cause battery problems and try to tell the Apple phone the battery it should be at )
if you have bought a new hearing aid and it still has not shown correct battery level then factory reset iPhone ( if knowing the battery is that important ) w

I've tried the disconnect and reconnection, batteries are replace roughly every 8 days. it still doesn't explain how two features of the same phone show different battery levels.
