No sound on specific sites

There are these two sites I’ve been using for a while, before I got my iPhone. On my old android they had no problem playing sound. Now, there’s no sound on either of them. I have tried 5 different browsers. I’ve tried going through the sites settings. I’ve tried going through my settings. Nothing. For all intents and purposes, my phone simply refuses to play the sounds from this site and I have no idea why. It’s frustrating. They’re chat sites so I use those sounds to know when someone is trying to talk to me. I have no idea what else I can do to get the sound back short of just using my Dell laptop. Does anybody have any idea what’s going on or any clue how to get the sound back?

If the majority of websites you use are able to play sounds without issue, then it would suggest that there is something with those particular sites that is causing this issue to occur. With that in mind, it would likely be best to reach out to the administrators of those sites for assistance with troubleshooting this issue. You may be able to find a link to a support section of those sites listed on the page itself, sometimes towards the bottom of the page. You can also use your preferred search engine to type something like "[Name of site] contact" or [Name of site] support" for some helpful results.
