Hello, I tried with both "local" and the "Internet" method using "Recovery Mode".

With "local" using Command-R I got the same error message. With "Internet" using Option-Command-R, I got a new error message. It downloaded the OS but failed installing. See error message below. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you! Be well. Brad

I read and followed the directions to run disk utility in recovery mode. I entered recovery mode and started the Internet recovery process. However the progress bar has been stuck in the same spot for 90 minutes.

I got the computer to go into recovery mode. I am hard wired to the Internet. I tried to run disk utility and first aid. I tried over and over and it keeps failing. I attached the error message I keep getting thank you for any help It is greatly appreciated Be well Brad

Same Issue. I have tried over and over. No resole. Now my computer keeps crashing every 30-45 minutes. Nothing running and everything unplugged.

Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support (CA)

Tried all that. No luck. Same error.

Yes, sometime as a last resort, using Recovery Mode, in theory may pull the latest version
