someone just call me from apple & said press 1 my phone had been compromised. I did that. was that a wrong thing to do. worried that someone may have info that i do not what them to have
Scam. The call was not from Apple.....because Apple will never call for this reason. The call was someone who wanted to trick you into believing that your phone has been "hacked".
Hopefully, you did not provide them with any personal information like your Apple ID or Password.
