Unable to get chinese phonetics in document

So I am on Ventura (13.5.1) primary system language Swedish and Pages 13.1 and what I am trying todo is a simple list of words, Chinese first and then Swedish, simple. I have tried to follow this (I hope this link will get you to your localised version): Använda fonetiska guider i Pages på datorn - Apple-support (SE). For some reason, no matter if I have the Chines keyboard active, changed the language and region to Chinese, and then also region to Mainland China, it still does not give me the choice to add phonetics on the ctrl-click or right-click. I cannot figure this one out, I have heard about Word having this issue on non-English systems, but not that Pages would have the same issue... Ideas, anyone?
