How to get rid of spam appointments in calendar, version 16.6

Spammers able to add invitations to calendar and no apparent way to delete them. I only see Accept, Maybe, or Decline. I don’t want to send back any response, just needs to be deleted.

Calendar spam invitations Since updating to iOS 16.7 I have begun receiving spam invitations in my calendar inbox. I did find an unfamiliar calendar and deleted it, but the spam persists. Spam meeting invites - how to delete them??? I have a spam meeting invite and there is no option to unsubscribe, delete or anything. How do I get rid of it??? I've tried all of the suggestions in the article: Delete spam calendars and events on iPhone - Apple Support and nothing works. I've logged into my google calendar and my icloud calendar. Nothing works. I've tried changing the invite to a spam calendar, but I can't do that either. How do I get rid of it??? I've updated my invite settings so that all invites need to be sent to my actual email address now. Help???
