Purchased App became subscription and took away all previous purchases

Hi. I (and many others) purchased an app on the AppStore called IBird Pro. Which was not a cheap app. The publisher decided to go subscription only and took away all of the features that people had previously purchased. Check the most recent reviews of the app to see. Is this against Apple App Store guidelines and if so, why hasn’t take action ?

It's not really a comparable case.

Once bought a 1Password desktop license for my Mac here, after a number of years I have to take out a monthly subscription. I don't think there's much to do about it.

Not sure if it helps, you can try:

If you have received an invoice from Apple, tap on Report a problem on the invoice.

Then you can choose an option:

OR see -> Find the URL for an app in the App Store to report a concern
