Will work the Vision Pro for people that only can see with one eye?

I am curious about this. Also, I had a cornea transplant when I was young and only have vision in my right eye. Would love to purchase one, but like most 3-D, we cannot see. Apple if you have an update for this or want to beta test, let us know. :) would love to use the technology

Short Answer : YES, with 3D limitations

So I also can't see from one eye and also wear a prosthetic. As we all know we do not have binocular vision (3D) so the 3D functions will not appear 3D. It was very immersive though.

I had a bad experience with the employee though. I had told him multiple times that he needed to enable the input for just one eye. He did not and I had quite a bit of trouble navigating through the entire ecosystem. When I finally had free time to mess with the device as required, I enabled the control for my particular eye and it worked wonderfully.

If it wasn't 4k I'd buy it. So

I also am blind in one eye, and I wonder whether this device could compensate for my limited field of view. That is, I very occasionally walk into someone on my right because I don't see them. With this device I should have a wider field of view.

I wouldn't let one for that feature, but looking to the future, that could be an advantage.

Change which eye to navigate with on Apple Vision Pro

If navigation with both of your eyes isn’t an option, you can adjust your settings to use one eye only.

1. Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Eye Input.
2. Choose Both Eyes, Left Eye Only, or Right Eye Only.
3. If you can’t navigate with your eyes, you can go Settings  > Accessibility > Interaction > Pointer Control to choose an alternative pointer, such as wrist, hand, or head.

It is great that you can Use your dominant eye to navigate. But, how does only having one eye affect the viewing experience? I think that would be more of a main concern would we lose peripherals or part of the screen. Ie. Back when you could toggle between full screen and wide screen and the frame was cut off.

I see out of one eye and the oculus is hard to use, does the vision pro work for people who see in 2D?

That is interesting, to see if it could increase peripheral. I do the same thing if I am turning real quick on my blind side, I can run into someone or do a quick jump back so I don’t.

I've only one eye - still haven't tried it yet, my wife really was amazed by it
