Updating from Catalina

Hello

We have a late 2013 iMac currently running Catalina 10.15.7.

My daughter is starting her GCSES and some of the software she ought to be using won't download from the app store because we aren't able to update to a more recent OS. Is there a way that we can get Ventura, Monterey or even Big Sur, so she can work efficiently?

It is fairly disgraceful that a 10year old computer can be considered obsolete. We have over 500GB left of storage space.

Many thanks

Alice

if some of the software are available outside of app store then you can check their site if they have a software version that works with older macOS versions.
