How do I fix “to avoid interruptions to your subscriptions and purchases, verify your payment information or add a new payment method” I have balance on my card and I’ve watched YouTube videos on it but I can’t fix it.

whenever I try to add my debit card to my phone it won’t work it says update your payment information

Troubleshooting a Declined Method of Payment:


Go Here: If your Payment Method is Declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support


No Success?

C. For Financial Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support. You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

I’m having the same issue I enter everything correctly but still it says declined. I checked everything my region, my city, my name my address everything is good but still it’s rejecting my card. Everything was working fine until it says please update your payment information now it’s not working now, it’s affecting my purchase, I don’t know what to do
