Volume lowers Automatically on FaceTime

I have an issue that only occurs during a FaceTime call where my volume will lower itself when audio is played. For example, if I watch a video during the call it would lower them volume significantly and when turned back up to the original volume it lowers itself again. Another occurrence that it also does the same is if the person on the other end of the call starts to share their screen the volume goes down. I’ve looked up a few things about it such as the “Reduced loud sounds” settings (which is off) but had no luck. Maybe I’m missing something that someone could help me find the answer too or point me in the right direction.
