Ipad Pro 12.4 first version, owned for six years. What value of latest version.

What are the actual upgrades to the Ipad that make it operate better? For example, does the music download with more clarity, do movies from netflix or youtube download with more clarity. What is the actual improvement in terms of practical performance for the average user.

At present the original ipad has a great screen, quick download, ample memory, etc. I do not take photos with the ipad, and my iphone is almost the latest version.

Newer models of iPad benefit from more powerful, higher performance, CPU or SoC. Newer models also benefit from additional RAM. Some models also benefit from better camera systems, LiDAR sensor, enhanced WiFi support and FaceID etc. Some models also have the new miniLED XDR Display.

Whether or not a particular user will derive benefit from improved hardware and performance will largely be determined by how the device is used.
