Creating a bootable installer.

How can I create a bootable usb on macOS Sonoma.

I want to create a macOS Catalina bootable USB for my old MBA because the recovery utility is not working.

Generally speaking, you are not allowed by your terms of use agreement to discuss in public any a beta OS.

With that said, creating a bootable installer has been unchanged for quite some time.:

Also keep in mind this "Sonoma" Mac must also be compatible with the OS you want to create a USB installer....which in this case does your Sonoma Mac support Catalina? If not, then you will need to find another Mac generally from 2012 to 2019 to use to download & create the bootable macOS 10.15 USB installer.
