Apple Card PIN for international travel
I've been asked to input a PIN when using my titanium Apple Card in Europe and the Middle East. How do I find or create a PIN?

Titanium cards do have pins, they’re just tricky to find but there are two ways to find the pin.
Way #1:
Wallet —> Apple Card —> Top right corner click on the little card with 123 —> Additional Card Numbers (bottom) —> You will now see the Last 4 digits and expiration of your titanium card.
Way#2
Wallet —> Apple Card —> Top right corner 3 dots —> Card Details —> Card information —> Additional Card Numbers —> You will now see the Last 4 digits and expiration of your titanium card.
Below the titanium card information it says “use the last 4 digits to identify transactions made with titanium card”
Sometimes you’ll be asked for a pin even within your country. No matter where you’re at or traveling to, that’s your pin.
Yes, I understand. I’ve encountered the same issue in my travels too. When I use the PIN and occasionally works, those are unmanned terminals. The merchant programs all transaction that way.
Using Tap-To-Pay and/or Apple Pay can bypass the PIN requirement in my experience. But if you encounter a PIN request, just use a different card. In my experience that rarely happens. But as I stated above, Apple Card’s do not have a PIN.
Apparently it is a problem overseas. I found this discussion about it from 2019 and nothing has changed.
How do I create a PIN number for my Apple… - Apple Community
There is no option to set a PIN on the Titanium card. All you can do is send feedback to Apple to request the feature.
Those are not a PIN (Personal Identification Number). Those are the last 4 numbers of the 16 digit card number. Those numbers are provided by the bank to facilitate refunds and returns.
Thank You!
I will try this
Terminals that request a PIN are usually trying to do a >Cash Advance< and terms & conditions of Apple Card accounts does not permit Cash Advances. However, I have been able to occasionally get a transaction approved by entering a random 4 digit number, such as 7246 or any random set.
Thanks, but I'm using it at merchants and restaurants for purchases, not ATMs for withdrawals.
My understanding is a PIN is used in some countries as an additional level of security for physical card transactions.
