Trying to erase iPhone 13 get the message "cannot erase iPhone"

Trying to erase iphone 13 after upgrading to new iphone. Follow the process suggested by apple and keep getting the message:

"Cannot erase iPhone. There is a problem removing this iPhone from your account. Try erasing this phone again".

Phone backed up and all data transferred to new phone. Any suggestions?

Is this your corporate iPhone? Then please contact the system administrator of your corporate
If it is your personal device, in that case, do you have any profile installed by your corporate/organisation/enterprise/School Management?

2. Or please contact the system administrator of the organisation who provided the profile to you

Thanks for your input. The solution was simple - I rebooted the phone and that sorted out the problem and I could do a complete data erase.
