MacBook Air M1 disable mouse acceleration

Im on Ventura 13.5.1 and it seems that the command "defaults write -g com.apple.mouse.scaling -integer -1" no longer works to disable mouse acceleration. Anyone know of an alternative command or way to disable mouse acceleration?

Reset Mighty Mouse settings after every reboot I have found some similar, but not the same, issues. I like the Mighty Mouse. Better than the Magic Mouse, mostly because of buttons 3 and 4. I use two different Mighty Mouses between 2 Intel Mac MIni's and an intel Macbook Air with macOS Ventura 13.1. The oldest of the 3 is 2019. Everything about the Mighty Mouse works perfectly. On the Mouse panel in System Settings, I see a button for Mighty Mouse settings when it is plugged in. Changes to items like secondary click survive a reboot. I assume because that setting is not specific to each individual mouse, but applies to "any" mouse plugged in. But anything I change in the dialog when I click Mighty Mouse Settings does not survive a reboot. AKA the reason I like this mouse, button 3 and 4. Everything I find online and here is from 10.6 and 10.7. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Following tip could help your question.

How to turn off mouse acceleration on Mac using Terminal

Open Terminal from the Finder menu: Applications ➙ Utilities ➙ Terminal.
Type defaults write . GlobalPreferences com. apple. mouse. scaling -1 into the Terminal window ➙ Enter.
Close Terminal.
