Is it possible to block random political text messages on my iPhone?

Is it possible to block random political text messages? I can see the source phone numbers on my iMac but not on my iPhone 13 ProMax. What can I do.

Also, in Messages on my iMac, is it possible to select more than one text message at a time for deletion (if they are adjacent to each other on the list)? Command + delete works with Safari-iCloud email but not in Messages?

Blocking About Scam Messages:

A. Use Malwarebytes Mobile Security:

The free version blocks popups. The paid version blocks out both texts and calls from known spam numbers, and lets you add number to the block list. So, consider using it. Read the following post to see how to use this software: Blocked numbers - Apple Community

Get it Right in the App Store: Malwarebytes - Mobile Security - App Store

B. Report Scams to Apple and Others:

Apple (and maybe others) needs to see this themselves to know what is long on here. So, report it to Apple. To do so, show them this screenshot. See my User Tip: Using the Photos App to Report Scams: - User Tip
