HI SO I RECIEVED AN EMAIL FROM MYSELF SAYING THAT SOMEONE HACKED MY PHONE WITH A RAT AND WAS RECORING ME AND TAPPED INTO MY MICROPHONE . NOW THEYRE DEMANDING I SEND THEM $1400.00 THRU BIT COIN OR THEY ARE GOING TO POST THOSE VIDEOS ON ALL MY SOCIAL MEDIAS & SEND THEM TO ALL OF MY CONTACTS. HAS THIS HAPPEND TO ANYONE ELSE ?

You are welcome. The email didn’t really come from you own email address. The scammers are able to “spoof” your email address when they send it.

Yes, there have been thousands, perhaps millions of such bogus emails. Delete the email, and do not interact with the message or the sender.
