Unable to preview songs in iTunes

Stumped the support folks at Apple so far. Some songs in iTunes preview no problem, others won't play at all. For the ones that don't play, when I click on the play button, it just spins for an eternity.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what songs will preview without issue and the ones that don't work.

Things I've tried:

Reset iTunes cache

Running iTunes diagnostics (all was fine)

Signed out of apple ID and back in

Restarted my computer a million times

Disabled Apple Music

Purchased a song that I couldn't preview prior to purchasing. As soon as I purchased it, the "preview play" button played the song without issue. Other songs on the same particular album continued to have the "spins"

Truly perplexing.

I Am having the same issue which I've had now for around 2-3 weeks. Really annoying!!! So much so I've been buying tracks from Beatport instead.

Also another issue has occurred at around the same time. It can't be a coincidence, it must be related to a software update. I Seem to remember getting a itunes/music update alert sometime around the end of September which I must of clicked.

The other issue I have is when I connect my iphone to my cars AUX, previously whatever track was playing would start playing instantly as soon as the phone was connected to the player. Now when I connect my phone to the cars AUX nothing plays and I have to then open up the phone, go to music and press play! Then when that song ends it doesn't automatically play the next song!!!! I Have to stop the car, open up the phone and press play! And so on and so on! Obviously this is very-V-E-R-Y-annoying!!!!

To stop this happening I had to totally reboot my iphone back and back up to its last back up which was near the end of September. Something had happened since then and I can only put it down to an itunes software update sometime between the end of September-beginning of October.

Any help on this will be much appreciated.
