2021 iMac 24" plays half a startup chime then stops. Screen does not turn on. Does this indicate a logic board failure? I have tried reseting the PRAM with a wired keyboard, but still nothing.

Hold down the power button for about 15 seconds and see if it starts up. If it does not, please restart in Safe Mode. Please read the instructions carefully a 2021 iMac is NOT an Intel machine, it uses Apple Silicon.
