AVAILABLE SIM in settings/About

What is “AVAILABLE SIM”?

Location: Settings/ General/ About

Near the bottom of the page where “Certificate Trust Settings” is displayed, you’ll see or not see “AVAILABLE SIM” and notice the code listed for the IMEI”2” is similar to the code used in “PHYSICAL SIM” IMEI.

What is that for and how does it work with the phone?

iPhone XR, iOS 16

Mobile telephones have an IMEI per SIM or eSIM, so IMEI2 would be the IMEI for that SIM/eSIM.

Here is how to set up and use two lines:

Set up cellular service on iPhone - Apple Support

Use Dual SIM on iPhone - Apple Support

You would see two telephone numbers available, if two lines were configured and available.
