Family share in app purchases

Can you share in-app purchases with family sharing? My son bought a bunch of games on my husband’s Apple ID and now we got him his own and we want to put all his games on it, but the games won’t restore in-app purchases even with family purchase sharing enabled

Depends on the type of in-app purchases and the app itself whether the purchases can be shared.

Consumable in-app purchases, such as coins or gems are specifically stated to not be shareable.
