With todays update all my photos have disappeared. It say something about it is not supported with the latest update. So how do I find my photos?

I did the update this morning, 8/23/2023, and now all my pictures are gone from the Photos app. It gives a message that it is not supported with the latest update. So how do I find my pictures. I have hundreds of pictures I don't want to lose. It was the latest update for the Mac book pro.

I’m going to make a few (large) assumptions about your Photos configuration.


Check iCloud.com for your photos. Log into the same Apple ID, and see if the photos are present.


If so… Check whether iCloud Photos is enabled on your Mac, and sign out of and restart the Mac and sign back into iCloud, as well.
