Unable to Display macbook pro working on external Monitor and where as other devices are able to connect and displayed.
Mac Pro (2019)
Updated to Ventura 13.5.1 and my MacBook Pro 2017 does not wake with a Magic Mouse click, and after waking does not recognise that an external monitor is connected. Resetting the PRAM does not fix. To use the monitor I have to restart and not let the computer sleep. Have reported this to Apple. Seriously, is this a major problem or am I missing something?
You are going to have to give a lot more details so anyone can help.
Which mac, exactly? Which OS version?
Which display? And, very important, how is the display connected - be very specific: which type of connection, cables, adapters... all of that can play a part.
In particular, if there is some dock or adapter between your mac and the display, tell us the brand, and model. Some work for usb ports, etc, but require additional software, like "DisplayLink", to be used with displays. Maybe you need it (again, we can't know unless you give us the pertinent information).
After a day of frustration with multiple restarts and PRAM resets the issue finally resolved and the computer is back to normal speed and the monitor connected normally. Thanks for your suggestion.
