Feature "add to home screen" creates shortcut as app on iphone with no browser navigation buttons

Recently I begun using "add to home screen" feature on my iphone. I noticed that the website appears as if it where an app. The issue is that there is no navigation buttons or any other internet browsing features. The only method to go back to previous site is by viewing the history and navigating to previous sites viewed.

Anyone able to assist?

iPhone 13, iOS 17

Each site handles this differently. Some sites add the shortcut as a web app. Others simply create a quick link to open Safari to that page. You'll need to reach out to the owner of the website for assistance.
