My mother has passed away and I cannot remove the activation lock from her Apple Watch so that I can let my son use it. What can I do? She did not set up a legacy account.
I really have much else that I can say. It is a series 3 Apple Watch. Problem is my youngest sister already logged her own Apple ID into my mothers iPhone 13 logging my mother out. Nobody knows her password. My father never bothered her phone so he does not know either. They stayed away from one another’s phones to give each other that privacy since there was no other privacy in their relationship. I reset the watch thinking that with my mother logged out of the paired phone it would be ok. It is not. My youngest son is 8 and he is the closest to her of all her grandchildren. He wants her watch to use with his phone that she bought for him. Is this watch now trash or for parts only? Or is there something that I can do to fix the damage that has been done to our situation?
