Move ring on Apple Watch not showing my activity

My Apple Watch SE is only two months old. I am 74 years old! I like to challenge myself by closing the rings each day but now the red ring doesn't move no matter how many steps I take. It always shows 0%. I've reset the watch by pressing the Digital Crown and the side button but this made no difference. Help appreciated please. With thanks

I’m having the same problem. Could you tell me what switches you toggled?

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

Thank you for your advice Javaliga. I tried all those suggestions with no luck. I unpaired and repaired my watch twice, the first setting up using the backup and the second setting up as a new watch. The green ring and the blue ring are still working as usual but the red ring is on 4% which is ridiculous given the other rings. Data shows I’ve done over 7000 steps and almost 5 km. It’s very frustrating indeed.
