ipod classic not reconized

itunes installed on pc, plug in IPOD CLASSIC but it is not recognized, says ok to disconnect. itune shows my details on ipod but thats all. I want to dowload music onto ipod

I have a brand new 6th generation apple Ipod. When I connect it to my computer, it says connected to Itunes, but It doesn't give me any further options. It seemed sync with my I tunes, but I can't get any further than the Connected to ITunes screen. ipod not showing in apple music or itunes I'm trying to update my ipod nano, but it won't appear in either apple music or itunes. it appears in windows explorer. Does Apple ITunes support IPod. Does not show up in ITunes when plugged into my PC? When I plug in my IPod to my PC Windows 11, it does not show in the ITunes Library as it has done so in the past. Yes my IPod is old but still works when plugged into my vehicle USB. Have over 1200 titles on it. What are my options to get it back working with ITunes???

does anyone know why IPOD CLASSIC not reconized, it did under old itunes
