I'm running OSX 12.6.8 and when I check out the new music in iTunes store, sometimes (but not always) the previews won't play. There's an arrow, but when I click on it, the song preview loads up in the top window but doesn't play. It's as if it's paused. I've cleared the cache in preferences. Weirdly, the button shows that the song should be playing. I can drag the song preview marker, but the song stays paused wherever it is.

You need to have a good Wi-Fi.
If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.

Hi, this advice is not what we need. I am able to preview the 2023 Karol G album from earlier this year. I am able to play an older song in the $0.69 section. But albums that were added to the store in August will not preview. This includes the Karol G album from August, the Ariana Grande album currently on the home page of the iTunes store, and a Son Lux album I searched for. It will search the store but will not play the sonds.
