HI, My daughter has a Iphone 13 Pro. Yesterday, she inadvertently clicked the pdf file of a phishing email and she was really worried that her phone had been hacked. Is there any way to check to see if everything is alright? I understand that iPhone 13 has pretty advanced anti-virus softeware and not easy to hack into. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Unless your daughter has jailbroken her iPhone or has let someone of questionable moral character access her unlocked phone for a considerable period of time, or is a high-profile journalist, politician, or activist whose data would be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to acquire, her phone has not been hacked.
Bob Timmons is correct that unless she fell for the phishing scam and gave out personal information, things should be fine. But being cautious is smart. It sounds like your daughter has a good head on her shoulders!

It's not something that one does accidentally. It requires some time and effort. If you saw apps called "Cydia" or "Sileo", that would be an indication. But, If you're daughter is coming to you worried about downloading a pdf, I don't think she's that likely to jailbreak her phone.

the answer is not simply “unless it’s jail broke” it can’t get hacked. Most hacking goes on via WiFi and that entire separate part which is ZERO to do w apple. Apple can be hacked and all it takes is for others to purposely or accidentally comes across ur devices on ur home WiFi or if one uses wifi not private

Data might be stolen that way. But intercepting WiFi data doesn't mean the phone itself is hacked.
