MacBook Air Dark Screen

Please help.

Macbook Air has dark screen but shows screen on HDMI monitor.

So can only use it when connected to an HDMI monitor.

MacBook Air 13″, OS X 10.10

Black Video Display when connected to second monitor My MacBook Air (2018) is currently connected to a second monitor (Samsung UTU7000_KA) via HDMI. When I attempt to play video from HBO Max or YoutubeTV in Safari on my MacBook Air, the video player is black. When I disconnect the second monitor, I am able to see the video. I am also able to see the video in Google Chrome as well as the YouTubeTV app. Has any one else experienced this and been able to resolve it? Thanks
